We are strong believers in giving back to our community through the power of surfing. We have been lucky enough to partner with two amazing organizations that focus on children on the spectrum and our veterans returning home. We take our non-profit work seriously and encourage you to learn more.

The Warrior Surf Foundation
The Warrior Surf Foundation was founded by Andy Manzi, a Folly Beach Local, in 2016. The foundation is focused on helping our military veterans through the power and camaraderie of surfing along side professional counseling in a unique environment from Warrior Surf's in house counselors. Warrior Surf is a unique and effective foundation that has played a crucial role in the lives dozens of veterans returning home. It is a huge testament to Andy's passion, dedication, and hard work and to the power of surfing. In 2017, Andy and Warrior Surf were featured on CNN's America's Heroes and nominated as a top ten organization.

The Ripple Effect
The Ripple Effect hosts an annual fundraiser event at our location on Folly Beach in concert with Isla's instructors. The event is a donation based surf camp for children on and off the spectrum. The goal is to introduce these children to the therapeutic powers of the ocean and surfing and to raise money for the Lowcountry's autism centers and therapists. We've had great success in the last two years and even added 30 private lessons for children on the spectrum during the summer of 2017 which was a huge hit.
