Yes, the rumors are true! We are proud to announce the addition of our paddle boarding offerings starting this spring! Our paddle boarding tours are designed to fit virtually any age, experience level and group size. The tours will launch out of the Folly River Boat Landing and can be booked online, just like our surf lessons.

Paddle Boarding Tour Offerings

We offer a variety of different types of paddle boarding tours including: Morning Paddle Tours, Afternoon Paddle Tours and Sunset Paddle Tours. We will also be offering Full Moon Paddle Tours, as well as Surf and Paddle Board Combo Packages.

Each tour lasts two hours and includes a chance to take in all the Folly and Charleston have to offer. The morning tours are a great option for those looking for a relaxing start to the day. The afternoon is an option perfect suited for late-risers and those who want to take advantage of the warmest parts of the day. Don’t worry about getting too hot, we will offer frequent opportunities to hop off the board and cool off. The Sunset Paddle is a fantastic way to take in the majestic sunsets that we so often get in Charleston. What better way to unwind after a busy day or relax with family and friends? Also, another added bonus of the Sunset Tour is the abundance of dolphins that are often visible during this time.

Once a month, you can take in the power of the Full Moon during our Full Moon Paddle. This option is only available to experience paddlers, and obviously only available during a full moon.

If you really want to do it all and and see it all, we do offer surf and paddle tour packages. These packages include a two hour paddle tour and a 90 minute one-on-one surf lesson. The best part of this package is that by booking them together you get 15% off! What better way to take in Folly from the water than that?

Spaces for each tour are limited to 10 paddlers to ensure we have the best instructor to paddler ratio. Upon request, we are available to do private tours and special group tours for corporate outings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family reunions and more!

Each tour includes paddle boards, professional instruction from our team of instructors, life vest, and carbon paddles. You will need to show up in swimwear, with a towel, drinking water, sunscreen and water shoes.
